How to use Redirect Checker

Enter a public website hostname and run the redirect trace after verification. Supports public IPv4 and native IPv6 addresses. For a domain, choose Auto IP, IPv4 or IPv6; Auto prefers IPv4 and uses IPv6 for IPv6-only domains. IPv6 connections require IPv6 connectivity at the test location.

Understanding the results

Follow each reported destination and status code to the final URL. Investigate loops and unnecessary hops. HTTP redirect tracing does not execute JavaScript redirects or simulate a complete browser session.

Can this checker find JavaScript redirects?

It follows HTTP redirects reported by the server. It does not execute JavaScript or render a page, so browser-only navigation may not appear in the results.
