HTTP Status

Test website HTTP status over IPv4 or IPv6, or compare both. Inspect connected addresses, certificates, redirects and response times.

How to use HTTP Status

Enter a domain or public IP address. Choose IPv4, IPv6 only, or Compare IPv4 & IPv6. Comparison checks HTTPS responses, certificates and redirects separately for each IP version.

Understanding the results

Inspect HTTP status, connected addresses, certificate findings, redirect destinations and response times. Explicit IPv4 and IPv6 selections never fall back to the other family. These requests do not load page assets or execute JavaScript. Unverified HTTPS observations are labelled.

Can I browse a website using IPv6 only?

This tool can test website requests using IPv6 only, but it does not change your browser connection or provide an interactive browsing proxy.

Why does IPv4 work while IPv6 is unavailable?

The domain may lack an AAAA record, or an IPv6 route or service may be unavailable. Review the individual results before drawing a conclusion.

What is the difference between an HTTP status check and Ping?

Ping checks ICMP replies. An HTTP status check requests the web service and reports its response. A server can block Ping while continuing to serve a website.
