DNS Resolver Comparison
Compare A, AAAA, MX and other DNS records from Cloudflare, Google and Quad9. Identify resolver differences and unavailable responses.
How to use DNS Resolver Comparison
Enter a domain, choose a record type and select two or three resolvers. The fixed resolver choices cannot be replaced with arbitrary servers.
Understanding the results
Consistent means comparable answers matched in this run. Different answers can reflect caching, load balancing or policy. Unavailable responses make the comparison inconclusive. This is not global propagation measurement.
Why do DNS resolvers return different answers?
Caching, DNS changes, traffic distribution and resolver policies can produce different records. Compare record types and returned values. Resolver comparison does not measure propagation from different geographic regions.
