Understanding the results

Results show available PTR hostnames. An IP address may have no reverse record. A returned hostname is not proof of ownership or a guarantee that forward DNS points back to the same address.

Why is there no hostname for an IP address?

The address may have no published PTR record. Reverse DNS is managed separately from a domain’s forward records. Use DNS Lookup to check whether a known hostname resolves to that address.
